The Wii Classic Controller is a controller for the Wii console. It plugs into the Wii Remote as an attachment. Its main use is to play Virtual Console games, and some main titles can also be played with this controller, such as Mario Kart Wii. An upgraded version was released in 2009, titled the Wii Classic Controller Pro.

A Pro Controller is developed for the Wii U console, the Wii console's successor. However, some games specifically for the Wii U are compatible with the Classic Controller, especially games with flexible control schemes.
